Jan 04, 2016 (newstodate): November 2015 proved no exception to the downward spiraling volumes of IATA airfreight exports.
The total volumes dropped by 10.22 percent in November, to 7,612 tonnes, and only three of the top-10 carriers managed to grow their volumes during the month.
The positive exceptions were #5 Finnair Cargo up 5.55 percent, y-o-y, to 529 tonnes, #6 Thai Cargo that was up 5.43 percent to 419 tonnes, and #7 Cargolux that increased its volumes significantly by 24.02 percent to 396 tonnes.
#1 SAS Cargo saw volumes down by 1.1 percent to 1,290 tonnes, #2 was Lufthansa Cargo with 817 tonnes and down 9.79 percent, while #3 KLM Cargo dropped 39.85 percent to 592 tonnes.
