Jan 18, 2016 (newstodate): A new Russian operator has been designated to continue flights on the route between Moscow and Vilnius, in Lithuania, following the demise of Transaero.
Continuing the service will be the Russian carrier Rusline providing seven weekly rotations on the route carrying passenger and mail on the route.
Rusline operates a fleet comprising 10 Bombardier CRJ100 and 10 CRJ200 aircraft.
Transaero first launched flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Vilnius from December 1, 2011, with four weekly rotations using Boeing 737-500 aircraft.
