Jan 06, 2016 (newstodate): The Irish LCC Ryanair may be planning for expansion in the Norwegian market in 2016.
So far, the airline has secured slot times at Oslo Airport, allowing it to operate three daily rotations between Oslo and London Stansted as well as a daily rotation between Oslo and Vilnius, in Lithuania.
The slot allocation must now be confirmed by Ryanair before January 31, 2016 in order to become operative, and there is currently no information from Ryanair confirming its potential Norwegian plans.
Norway's Oslo Rygge Airport was opened on March 30, 2010 as Ryanair's 37th base.
