Jan 19, 2016 (newstodate): The Iranian carrier Mahan Air is bent on expanding its international services, including services to Europe.
Already last year, the carrier opened flights to a range of new destinations in Europe including Munich, Milan and Athens, while frequencies were increased on flights to Ankara, Istanbul, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, Almaty, Yerevan, Kabul and Kuala Lumpur.
In January 2016 the carrier has commenced direct flights from Tehran to Moscow, and flights from Tehran to Kiev will start in February 2016.
Now pending are also plans for launch of services to Copenhagen and Stockholm, in Scandinavia, presumably from early summer 2016.
