Jan 11, 2016 (newstodate): Beijing Capital Airlines has now opened flights on its second route to Europe.
Since December 28, 2015, the carrier has been online at Madrid Airport with two weekly rotations on the route between Hangzhou and Madrid, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The airline launched its first intercontinental - and European - flights to Copenhagen, Denmark, with one weekly rotation from Hangzhou and Beijing, respectively, also using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The series of flights to Copenhagen were first limited to two months of service, but the carrier will return in 2016 with a seven-months program in response to the positive results from its first year of operation.
The carrier earlier said that flights to Helsinki, in Finland, were also planned, but no details have since been announced while the plans were indeed confirmed to newstodate by Finavia.
