Jan 27, 2016 (newstodate): All-year CASS figures from Sweden confirm the traditional top-3 positions among IATA airlines' export cargo volumes - but with little fanfare.
On top is still SAS Cargo with 15,530 tonnes, followed by Lufthansa Cargo with 20,494 tonnes and KLM Cargo with 9,631 tonnes.
But Lufthansa Cargo was alone in seeing modest growth by 1.77 percent, y-o-y, as both #1 and #3 were down by 4.76 and 18.38 percent, respectively.
Only two other carriers grew their volumes in 2015, namely #6 Qatar Airways with 17.77 percent and #9 Cargolux with 30.88 percent, y-o-y.
#4 Emirates saw volumes down by 13.07 percent, and #5 Finnair also dipped 2.72 percent.
#7 Thai Airways dropped 7.53 percent, #8 was British Airways, down 4.74 percent, and finally #10 Korean Air was down modestly by 0.21 percent to 3,843 tonnes.
The total volumes of export airfreight on all IATA carriers from Sweden in 2015 was 96,381 tonnes - down 5.39 percent, y-o-y.
The CASS figures comprise however only flown IATA cargo from Sweden.
