Sep 07, 2015 (newstodate): Starting from today, keen aircraft spotters may catch the sight of a Russian AN-30B twin-engine turboprop aircraft sniffing around in the air above Denmark.
Aboard will be inspectors from Russia performing observation flights over Denmark in accordance with the treaty between the European nations for mutual peace keeping and stabilization efforts.
To ensure strict adherence to the conditions and the use of the aircraft's on-board intelligence equipment, Danish officers will be observing the observers during the flights.
The AN-30B will be based at Aalborg AFB, and the flights will take place between September 7 and 11, 2015.
