Sep 04, 2015 (newstodate): As other migratory birds, Small Planet Airlines is soon to seek warmer climates as the European summer season draws to an end.
Thus four Airbus A320 aircraft from Small Planet Airlines will be placed in Cambodia to served with the Asian carrier Sky Angkor on routes to China and South Korea.
Building on experience from a similar contract last winter, the Lithuanian charter carrier and ACMI provider has landed a five-year contract with the Cambodian airline that will deploy the aircraft on route from Siam Reap to various destinations in China and South Korea.
Since 2014 the carrier has built up business with customers in Asia to balance the seasonal variations in the European traffic, starting with a cooperation with Bhutan Airlines flying passengers from Bangkok to Paro in Bhutan, followed by a project with Sky Angkor, a Cambodian airline, and in 2015 the establishment of a representative office in Bangkok, Thailand.
