Sep 23, 2015 (newstodate): Kyrgyzstan has air services agreements with many states around the world - but its aviation business remains mainly with Russian flights.
The country has signed a total of 26 air services agreements, but out of 22 international destinations with flights into the capital airport at Bishkek, 14 are Russian.
The airport of the country's second-largest city Osh has 12 international connections, of which nine are Russian.
Kyrgyzstan has a total of 86 airports of very different sizes, five of which are international airports including two serving the Issyk Kul region mainly attracting turist and sports traffic.
