Sep 29, 2015 (newstodate): After a test period, Jetpak has now announced the inclusion of the three Baltic states to its growing network.
Starting from September 2015, Jetpak has thus introduced its logistics services to and from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as a further step in its strategy of expansion, not only in the Nordic but in the European markets where the UK and Luxembourg were added also earlier this year.
Jetpak has been present in Estonia since January 26, 2007, but through a partner and offering only import services while its is now active with own staff in all three Baltic capitals and offering both imports and exports.
The new Baltic operation is managed by Jetpak Finland that remains responsible for customer service in the Baltic region, with local staff in the three Baltic markets responsible for sales and physical operations.
-This is actually a unique model, developed by Jetpak, where the Jetpak market with the strongest interests takes responsibility for developing and managing new markets, says Michael Hovgaard, Jetpak Denmark Country Manager.
-Under this model, the opening of Jetpak in Holland and Belgium was managed by Jetpak Norway, while the recent opening of the UK was managed by Jetpak Denmark.
-This also secures a high degree of motivation at local levels instead of having a headquarter managing these processes at a distance, says Mr Hovgaard.
