Sep 23, 2015 (newstodate): The Icelandic carrier WOW Air is planning to start all-year flights from Iceland to Stockholm - sort of - from summer 2016.
The carrier has picked Stockholm Vasteraas Airport as its destination airport, and flights will commence from May 19, 2016, offering four weekly rotations.
Connected to Stockholm City by bus and train, Vasteraas Airport also serves the cities of Uppsala, Vasteraas, Orebro and Eskilstuna.
So far, WOW Air has been offering seasonal summer flights from Keflavik to Stockholm Arlanda since 2014.
