Sep 03, 2015 (newstodate): Today marks the first landing at Copenhagen Airport by Beijing Capital Airlines, a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines.
Over the next two months, the carrier will offer one weekly flight with Airbus A330-200 aircraft from Hangzhou and Beijing, respectively, to Copenhagen carrying Chinese tourists on package tours sold only by the Chinese tour operator Caissa Touristic, like Beijing Capital Airlines a company in the dominating HNA Group that also operates Hainan Airlines.
The new flights are the first direct passenger flights between China and Denmark.
But the carrier's plans do not end here: Capital Airlines will also launch flights from Beijing to Helsinki, in Finland, before the end of the year.
