Sep 11, 2015 (newstodate): As earlier reported, Finnair Cargo's shared freighter service with IAG Cargo between Helsinki and London Luton Airport will offer two weekly rotations with an Airbus A300-600 freighter aircraft from DHL Aviation starting from September 15, 2015.
To further boost the development of its cargo business in the UK, Finnair will add belly cargo capacity to its route between Helsinki, Finland and London Heathrow from the beginning of the winter season starting on 25 October 2015, operating three weekly frequencies on the route with a wide-body aircraft, to facilitate increased cargo demand on the route.
The added wide-body belly cargo capacity on the Helsinki-London route complements the freighter service Finnair and IAG Cargo share between the cities, as well as the 35 weekly frequencies with A320 series aircraft.
