Sep 08, 2015 (newstodate): Details of the LoI signed between Aviator and the SAS Group for sale of SGH are still scanty.
When carried through to an eventual acquisition, Aviator will reign supreme at all major Scandinavia airports including the capital airports of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, greatly changing the competitive environment for other parties including Swissport in Sweden and Menzies in Denmark.
It remains clear, however, that the planned acquisition will not comprise the cargo handling company Spirit Air Cargo Handling.
Spirit Air Cargo Handling is present at 12 airports throughout Scandinavia including air cargo handling at the terminals in Copenhagen and Billund, Denmark, Malmo, Gothenburg and Stockholm in Sweden, and Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, Kristiansand, Trondheim, Bodo and Tromso in Norway.
