Sep 16, 2015 (newstodate): Plane spotters around Denmark's Copenhagen Airport can look forward to exciting new experiences with the world's latest aircraft types on the runways.
While the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is by now already a daily visitor by several airlines at the airport, Emirates is introducing the large commercial aircraft Airbus A380 in daily traffic from December 1, 2015.
And Singapore Airlines has now revealed plans to expand its operations in Copenhagen by launching daily flights between the Danish capital and Singapore using the new Airbus A350 XWB aircraft, replacing one of the Boeing 777-200 aircraft currently used on the route.
The introduction of the Airbus A350 will take place as the carrier increases its service on the route from currently five weekly to daily service from the start of Summer 2016 schedule.
The Airbus A350 XWB will however make its first appearance at Copenhagen Airport already on October 8, as part of Finnair's presentation flights by the new aircraft that will enter commercial long-haul service with the carrier starting from October 25, 2015, on the route from Helsinki to Shanghai.
