Aug 20, 2015 (newstodate): SAS is to add its second destination on the US West Coast from summer 2016.
The carrier return services to Los Angeles from Stockholm, Sweden, offering daily flights from March 14, 2016, and going down to five or six weekly rotations from the winter schedule.
SAS last served Los Angeles with flights from Copenhagen, Denmark, until 1994.
The first SAS route to the US West Coast was opened on April 8, 2013, s SAS launched services from Copenhagen Airport to San Francisco with six weekly rotations all year round.
Currently, SAS operates nonstop service from New York Newark to Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, from Chicago to Copenhagen and Stockholm, and from Washington, D.C. to Copenhagen.
All services are performed with Airbus A330/340 aircraft.
