Aug 25, 2015 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport is seeing modest, but sustained growth in cargo volumes in 2015.
In the first seven months of this year, the airport handled a total of 4,586 tonnes of cargo which was an increase by 4.61 percent, y-o-y.
Except for January and February where volumes dipped by 2.71 and 5.05 percent, respectively, the airport has seen volumes rising month by month, with three months seeing two-digit rises even.
The Latvian carrier airBaltic is one driver in the positive process where integrators, notably DHL, play a strong role.
