Aug 12, 2015 (newstodate): Norway's Oslo Airport reported another month of negative growth in 2015, with total volumes in July down 9.2 percent, y-o-y.
A total of tonnes of cargo and mail was handled, of which international cargo accounted for 7,737 tonnes, a decline by 8.5 percent.
Domestic cargo was also down 9.5 percent to 577 tonnes, and both domestic and international mail volumes were down as well.
In January-July 2015 the airport has thus handled a total of 71,046 tonnes of cargo and mail, down 2.3 percent, with international cargo down only 0.1 percent to 52,907 tonnes.
The statistics by Avinor comprises only flown cargo at Oslo Airport, while the bulk of the country's airfreight remains trucked into and from the country as flown into continental airports.
