Aug 21, 2015 (newstodate): Airports in the former Yugoslavia are seeing brisk rises in passenger volumes in 2015.
Among the leading 10 airports, only one - Tivat in Montenegro- is seeing a downward trend while the others, led by Serbia's Belgrade Airport, are all on a growth line.
Passenger volumes through Belgrade Airport were thus up by 6.9 percent, y-o-y, to 2.7 mio passengers during January-July 2015, and by seven percent to 1.4 mio passengers at Croatia's Zagreb Airport.
Growing the most is Skopje Airport in Macedonia, where volumes are up by 15 percent to 773,000 passengers during the period.
Tivat Airport was down 1.1 percent to 492,000 passengers due to a shortfall of Ukrainian traffic.
