Aug 27, 2015 (newstodate): Korean Air Cargo is not returning its direct freighter service from Seoul to Denmark in the coming winter schedule.
From the start of this summer schedule, Korean Air Cargo suspended its earlier three weekly freighter flights at Denmark's Copenhagen Airport, and hopes were that they would return from the coming winter schedule.
-Business volumes are, however, still not large enough to sustain a direct freighter, so we will see no return of the freighters in the coming period either, says Mr Lu, Korean Air Cargo general manager Denmark.
-We are, however, still very much present in the market with own office and offering frequent trucking services into Stockholm, Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
During the current summer schedule, the carrier also operates three weekly freighter rotations at Oslo as well as three weekly rotations at Stockholm, although the frequency was temporarily reduced to two flights.
