Aug 03, 2015 (newstodate): A sustained decline in import cargo is still hampering also Denmark's Billund Airport.
In July, the decline in port volumes was 23.5 percent, y-o-y, to 1,646 tonnes which by far outbalanced the volumes of export cargo that grew 2.5 percent to 3,421 tonnes.
In total, the airport thus handled 5,067 tonnes of cargo which was 7.7 percent less than July 2014.
In January-July 2015, the airport has been handling a total of 36,847 tonnes of cargo, up 3.1 percent, y-o-y, including 12.250 tonnes of imports, down 9.9 percent, and 24,327 tonnes of exports, an increase by 11.3 percent.
