Aug 26, 2015 (newstodate): Swedish airport Orebro is looking ahead to the return of services on the coveted route to Copenhagen, Denmark.
Starting from October 26, 2015, Estonian Air will reinstate direct flights between Orebro and Copenhagen, a route left without service for more than two years since NextJet pulled out due to lack of profitability.
The new air service is backed financially by the regional governments in an effort to boost local industries and tourism.
With the start of the route, Estonian Air is also introducing a new aircraft type in its fleet, the CRJ700 offering fewer seats than the three CRJ900 already in service with the carrier.
Estonian Air will take delivery in September of two CRJ700 aircraft on a leasing contract with a yet-unannounced provider.
