Aug 03, 2015 (newstodate): The implementation of the IATA e-AWB process is generally running at a fast pace in the Nordic and Baltic market.
Reporting on the June 2015 status, IATA notes only Norway as "needing a push", while comments on the other Nordic and Baltic market are generally positive.
Estonia and Latvia thus scored the comment "fantastic implementation" with 24.1 and 19.5 percent of AWBs issue electronically in June despite gaining pace only after few months in 2015.
Iceland and Lithuania reached, or rather exceeded, targets with 55.5 and 45.5 percent, respectively in June, and "steady growth" was attained in Denmark with 27.8 percent, in Finland with 35.9 percent, and in Sweden with 23.0 percent.
And Norway: here the target was 30 percent, but the process achieved only 11.1 percent.
