According to Wingx Advance, there was a solid growth in activity across Europe's six largest markets: France, Germany, UK, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland.
But other markets were marked by decline, first of all in Russia where the market declined by 24 percent, y-o-y, while Ukraine dropped 37 percent, Turkey six percent, and Austria and Norway that were both down by nine percent.
Business aviation flights into Europe from the Middle East were up 22 percent, y-o-y, in July 2015, flights from Europe to North America increased eight percent, while European arrivals from the CIS region fell 30 percent, and domestic European flights were up 1.4 percent.
Most of the market´s growth came from turboprop and piston aircraft activity, not business jet flights that increased only slightly in terms of Private activity, but down three percent in Charter activity.
The main growth markets for business jet activity in July were Italy and Spain.
Business jet departures from Greece increased 10 percent in July, while declines in business jet flights from Germany and Turkey exceeded 5 percent.
The growth markets for Charter activity were France and UK. Charter and Fractional flights operated by Bombardier jets increased 20 percent, notably on the Challenger 300 platform.
