Jun 16, 2015 (newstodate): The Swedish carrier Braathens Aviation has placed an order for new ATR aircraft at the ongoing Paris Air Show.
-We have signed up for delivery of six ATR 72-600 aircraft in addition to options for a further 10 aircraft, says Anders Ehrling, Braathens Group CEO.
-With these new aircraft we will be able to gradually renew our existing aircraft fleet, aiming at phasing out ATR 72-500 as well as the ageing SAAB 2000. The exact scheduling of this process has not been finally decided yet, says Mr Ehrling.
