Jun 10, 2015 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT and Air Serbia have inked a new code-share agreement comprising traffic between the Baltic region, southeastern Europe and the Middle East.
According to the agreement signed on June 8, 2015, Air Serbia will add its prefix on LOT's flights from Warsaw to Vilnius, Tallinn and Riga, while LOT will add its prefix to Air Serbia's flights from Belgrade to Podgorica and Tivat in Montenegro, and to Abu Dhabi.
EU has recently required LOT to temporarily suspend flights on a number of routes including Warsaw-Belgrade from the end of this month.
This route will, however, be opened again from January 1, 2016, with two daily rotations, one by each carrier, which will enhance the connectivity offered under the new code-share agreement.
