Jun 11, 2015 (newstodate): A new Kazakh carrier will perform its first flight on July 1, 2015.
Qazaq Air has been established as a state-owned carrier as the country's second national airline, after Air Astana, with a focus on domestic passenger and cargo flights, and the carriers will cooperate to provide transfer options for their passengers.
No details are yet available as to management positions, but the company is in talks and close cooperation with Bombardier that will probably be selected to deliver the Q400 for the aircraft fleet.
