Jun 29, 2015 (newstodate): In May 2015, only two IATA carriers reported positive growth in volumes in the Swedish export airfreight market.
The exceptions were #2 Lufthansa Cargo with an increase, y-o-y, by 26.22 percent to 924 tonnes, while the other carrier was #6 Qatar Airways that was, however, only modestly up by 0.63 percent to 395 tonnes.
Topping the list was again SAS Cargo with 987 tonnes, but down 29.08 percent, and #3 was Finnair with 614 tonnes and also down 4.81 percent.
KLM Cargo sunk to a position as #4 on the list with 522 tonnes after dropping no less than 45 percent which was also the highest negative score among the 10 IATA carriers on the list.
Overall, the Swedish IATA export airfreight market was down by 15.34 percent, y-o-y, in May, to 6,868 tonnes.
