Jun 09, 2015 (newstodate): Estonia may become a stepping stone for the entry of the international aviation security provider ICTS into the Baltic airport security market.
A tender has now been opened for security at Tallinn Airport that has so far been provided by G4S.
ICTS has announced it will set up a JV with the Estonian security provider USS Security and this company will place a bid to snatch the five-year contract.
The interests of ICTS do not focus on the Estonian airport only, but if the JV succeeds in placing the winning bid, ICTS will use this contract as a door opener to more business in the Baltic region as well as in the neighboring Finnish and Russian markets.
The winner of the tender will be announced by the end of this year.
