Jun 12, 2015 (newstodate): While the Nordic region finds little space on IATA's statistics on the global penetration of the e-AWB, markets in the region emerge stronger on a European scale.
As per April 2015, Iceland ranks #1 on the European score board with 46 percent e-AWBs, followed by #2 Finland with 38 percent.
Newcomer to the process is Lithuania that nevertheless enters the list as #5 with 26.4 percent e-AWB, and Denmark ranks #9 with 21.6 percent, but down from an earlier position as #5.
Earlier ranking #13, Sweden was now #11 with 19.5 percent, and another newcomer in April was Estonia that took the position as #14 with 5.4 percent.
Norway is found further down the list as #20 with 9.4 percent, while Latvia, also a newcomer in 2015, managed the position as #22 with 7.4 percent.
