Jun 05, 2015 (newstodate): With the easing of tension across the narrow strait dividing USA and Cuba, new opportunities for air travel are arising.
As the one of first airlines to grab the new chance is the Czech carrier Smart Wings, a brand name owned by the Czech carrier Travel Service will launch twice-weekly scheduled flights between Prague and Varadero Juan Gualberto Gomez Airport, Cuba, starting by December 2015 and operating with airbus A330-200 aircraft on lease from the Canadian carrier Air Transat.
So far, only charter flights have been offered.
