Jun 15, 2015 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is opening a spree of new seasonal routes this summer to increase the rate of utilization of its aircraft fleet during a slack business period.
The latest addition to the route network this summer is the opening of flights from Riga to Pisa, in Italy, inaugurated on June 13, and now served with one weekly rotation.
Earlier airBaltic launched flights to Rhodes, in Greece, from June 12, with one weekly rotation, and to Thessaloniki, also in Greece, from June 5 offering two weekly rotations, to Dubrovnik, in Croatia, from May 26, with one weekly flight.
