Jun 02, 2015 (newstodate): May 2015 was another month with advances in airfreight volumes at Denmark's Billund Airport - but imports are still lagging behind.
A total of 6,374 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, an increase by 4.2 percent, y-o-y.
But while exports continued to soar with a growth at 14.1 percent to 3,657 tonnes, imports remained 11.9 percent down, to 1,717 tonnes.
The period January-May 20915 presents the same picture: total volumes were up 6.7 percent to 26,602 tonnes, exports increased by 14.7 percent to 17,449 tonnes, but imports were down 5.9 percent to 9,153 tonnes, compared to last year.
