May 13, 2015 (newstodate): The SAS Group's SGH is currently in the process of completing the outsourcing of its GSE businesses in Scandinavia.
Earlier this year, the GSE business in Norway and Sweden was sold to the Belgian TCR Group, and SGH and TCR are now close to an agreement on a similar take-over of the GSE business in Denmark with some 50 employees as well, expected to be completed by this summer.
In Sweden, the TCR Goup took over 21 staff in Arlanda, Gothenburg and Malmo servicing 1,272 GSE units, and named TCR Sweden the new company has been operating from February 1, 2015.
In Norway, TCR has been in place since October 1, 2012, starting out with contract through sale & leaseback of 172 GSE units in Oslo Gardermoen for Aviator, Menzies, Oslo Airport, West Air, Sundt Air and Sodexo, adding SGH's GSE business also from 2015.
