May 20, 2015 (newstodate): The Russian carrier RusLine is now online at Lithuania's Vilnius Airport.
The carrier performed the opening flight on May 19, 2015, and is now offering three weekly rotations on the route connecting St Petersburg and Vilnius, but during the period till the end of this summer schedule only.
Flights are performed with the airline's CRJ200 aircraft.
Until now, passengers between St Petersburg and Vilnius would need an en-route stop by either airBaltic, Estonian Air or Belavia.
RusLine is, however, no newcomer to Lithuania.
The carrier has been offering seasonal flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Palanga since summer 2011, and from June 16, 2013, the carrier introduced scheduled flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Kaunas Airport, offering two weekly rotations.
