May 15, 2015 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ACMI carrier Avion Express has again increased its fleet of Airbus aircraft.
Latest new additions to the fleet are two Airbus A320-200 that were delivered on May 6, 2015, and are now being registered in Lithuania.
Both aircraft are delivered on a lease contract with the US company CIT Aviation as this leasing company's first transaction with Avion Express.
Already in the fleet of 10 similar aircraft as well as two Airbus A319 aircraft, all on ACMI contracts with operators in Europe.
In 2008, Switzerland-based Avion Capital Partners set up by David Masson became the major shareholder in Avion Express that took delivery of its first Airbus A320 aircraft in April 2011
