May 1, 2015 (newstodate): The Danish carrier and capacity provider DAT is taking delivery of another Airbus A320 aircraft.
Leased from the Aviation Capital Group, the A320 aircraft was last operated by Sky Airline and stored since July 2014.
After taking in one Airbus A320 in February 2015 and adding this new aircraft, DAT will be operating a fleet comprising four Airbus A320 and to MD 83/87 aircraft during the summer season.
DAT earlier planned to take in its first A321 aircraft by summer 2015, but this was postponed till a later date.
-We realized that this would put excessive stress on the organization ahead of the busy summer season, so plans were postponed while not shelved, Jesper Rungholm, DAT CEO and co-owner, told newstodate in February.
