May 1, 2015 (newstodate): Export volumes continue to grow at Denmark's Billund Airport, while imports are still lagging behind as seen from the latest statics on April 2015.
In April, export volumes were up by 12.2 percent, y-o-y, to 3,335 tonnes, but imports were down by 17.8 percent to 1,907 tonnes.
A total of 5,242 tonnes was thus handled at the airport - a drop by 0.9 percent, y-o-y.
During the first four months of this year, the airport has been handling 21,228 tonnes of cargo, which is still up 7.3 percent, y-o-y.
Exports increased by 14.8 percent to 13,792 tonnes, but imports continued to fall by 4.4 percent to only 7,436 tonnes during January-April 2015.
