May 27, 2015 (newstodate): Cargo on Russian carriers was up by 7.6 percent, y-o-y, in April 2015, to 321,063 tonnes.
The increase was again driven by the top-5 carriers that accounted for 81.8 percent of the total volumes after increasing their joint volumes by 8.9 percent in April, to 265,320 tonnes.
Of the top-5 carriers, only two did grow volumes, though, namely #1 ABC that increased by 21.4 percent, y-o-y, to 187,043 tonnes, and #4, Volga-Dnepr where volumes were also up by 3.3 percent to 12,168 tonnes.
Both carriers belong to the Volga-Dnepr Group as does also #10 on the list, Atran that however dipped 18.9 percent to 3,416 tonnes.
#2 Aeroflot was down 7.6 percent to 41,883 tonnes, #3 Transaero dropped 26.9 percent to 15,100 tonnes, and #5 Sibir also lost 21.9 percent to 9,128 tonnes.
