Apr 29, 2015 (newstodate): Seven out of 10 top-rated IATA-carriers in Sweden contributed to the sustained drop in the country's export airfreight volumes in March 2015.
The only exceptions were #5 Finnair, #6 Qatar Airways and #10 Cargolux.
Finnair thus managed an increase by 6.61 percent, y-o-y, to 722 tonnes, Qatar increased its volumes by 38.88 percent to 541 tonnes, and Cargolux saw volumes up by 16.84 percent to 337 tonnes.
Topping the list was SAS Cargo with 1,213 tonnes but down 3.03 percent, followed by Lufthansa Cargo with 907 tonnes, down 14.84 percent, KLM Cargo with 831 tonnes, down 16.24 percent, and Emirates with 758 tonnes, down 20.49 percent, y-o-y.
#7 Singapore Airlines held out with a drop by only 0.46 percent to 446 tonnes, while #8 Thai Cargo took a dip by 6.28 percent to 433 tonnes, and #9 BA was also down 5.5 percent to 374 tonnes.
In total, the Swedish IATA export airfreight market declined 6.72 percent, y-o-y, to 8,617 tonnes in March 2015.
