Apr 27, 2015 (newstodate): Despite the over-all positive trend in Poland's economy, the country's capital airport saw its cargo volumes down during Q1, 2015.
During the first three months of this year, Warsaw Chopin Airport handled a total of 13,000 tonnes of cargo, a decline by nine percent, y-o-y.
Included in the totals were 12,900 tonnes of international cargo that fell nine percent, while volumes on domestic routes were down by 23 percent, y-o-y, to only 126 tonnes.
Imports volumes were 6,893 tonnes, while export airfreight accounted for 6,032 tonnes - both volumes down by nine percent, y-o-y.
