Apr 20, 2015 (newstodate): After a prolonged period of waiting, Norwegian is now to unfold its plans for new intercontinental routes from Copenhagen Airport.
The carrier has called to a press conference at Copenhagen Airport on April 21, 2015, to inform of its plans for new long-haul services as well as present its views on competition in the global aviation business.
Under the current summer schedule, the carrier is offering flights from Copenhagen to 57 destinations, domestic and international, including 51 European and five intercontinental routes.
The intercontinental routes now connect to New York, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Bangkok, and expectations are that the carrier will announce the opening of new flights to a sixth US destination as well as to a point in the Caribbeans.
