Apr 07, 2015 (newstodate): Norwegian is expected to announce shortly the opening of a further two long-haul routes from Copenhagen Airport.
Under the new summer schedule, the carrier is offering flights from Copenhagen to 57 destinations, domestic and international, including 51 European and five intercontinental routes.
The intercontinental routes now connect to New York, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Bangkok, and expectations are that the carrier will announce the opening of new flights to a sixth US destination as well as to a point in the Caribbeans.
Starting from April 1, 2015, the carrier is handled at Copenhagen by new handling provider at the airport - Menzies, that won the contract replacing Aviator that was so far Norwegian's handling provider.
