Apr 13, 2015 (newstodate): The Faroese carrier Atlantic Airways has started its search for a new CEO to take over from Jorgen Holme.
Mr Holme was installed as interim CEO on November 18, 2013, in a surprising move by the Board that abruptly sacked the CEO since 1995, Magni Arge, after disagreement over strategy.
The prime task for Mr Holme was thus to take the airline through a process towards formulating a new strategy that was eventually launched on June 18, 2014 with a strong focus on serving the country with affordable and adequate flight connections, abandoning earlier attempts to engage also in ACMI and charter operations.
