Apr 24, 2015 (newstodate): A new Dutch aircraft capacity provider has started operations: FlyDenim, launched on April 1, 2015.
As reflected by its name, FlyDenim is set up by the ACMI provider Denim Air and operates on this owner's AOC.
The new capacity provider describes itself as a non-stop shop for tour operators, agents, brokers and individual travelers.
Behind the new company are Raymond Vrijenhoek, co-founder and MD of FlyDenim, and Carst Lindeboom, co-founder and CCO.
From the start, the fleet comprises of mainly regional aircraft including Fokker 50, Embraer 145, Fokker 100 and ATR 42, but the company plans to add also either Airbus A320 family or Boeing 737 NG aircraft by H2, 2015.
