Apr 07, 2015 (newstodate): The Swedish/British carrier West Atlantic has now placed its first Boeing 767 freighter on Swedish aircraft registry.
The Boeing 767-200F aircraft has received the registration SE-RLA after having been ferried to the carrier's maintenance provider on January 5, 2015, and it has now been placed at Liege Airport, the European hub of TNT that will presumably be new ACMI customer for West Atlantic.
The freighter is sourced from its partner, the Ohio-based Air Transport Services Group, ATSG, that took a 25 percent stake in the Gothenburg-based West Atlantic Group in December 2013.
