Apr 20, 2015 (newstodate): When Air Lituanica opened flights from Vilnius to Billund, in Denmark, in 2014, it was an experiment..
-When we get into the summer season, demands for capacity in the business passenger segments on our key routes lessen, and rather than to have aircraft on the ground or flying with low loads we use this opportunity to test out new destinations and markets, says Simonas Bartkus, Air Lituanica CCO since February 1, 2013.
-With the first flight on June 16, 2014, the route from Vilnius to Billund was such an experiment. But it has proved to be quite successful so we are back again this summer, again offering two weekly rotations.
