Mar 06, 2015 (newstodate): The Danish aerospace company Terma will deliver equipment to boost safety and low-visibility capabality at six German airports.
Terma will be sub-contractor to Germany's airnav services provider AviBit that has won a framework contract for the delivery of Surface Movement Radars including Radar Data Extractors.
The role of Terma will be to deliver its SCANTER 5502 Solid State Radar, while AviBit will implement its ACEMAX Radar Data Extractor software.
The first German airport to receive the new equipment will be Dusseldorf International Airport, Germany's third-busiest airport.
