Mar 17, 2015 (newstodate): Aeroflot has decided to close down a total of seven offices around the world, including India and Canada.
Aeroflot's offices at Mumbai and Toronto are thus to be closed after becoming off-line since last year.
Aeroflot had pinned high hopes on generating significant transfer passenger volumes on its route between Mumbai and Toronto via Moscow, reopened in spring 2014 after several years of absence.
But the general decline in the market for Russian air travel caused the airline to stop flights again from October 26, 2016, and Aeroflot does no longer see prospects for business by these two offices.
