Mar 16, 2015 (newstodate): Lithuania's global MRO provider FL Technics has landed a new base maintenance agreement with a Central Asian carrier.
Under the new contract, Turkmenistan Airlines will send its five Boeing 737 NG aircraft to FL Technics' maintenance facilities at Vilnius for C-checks.
The first Boeing 737-800 operated by the national airlines of Turkmenistan has already reached FL Technics premises.
According to the contract, FL Technics engineers will provide a comprehensive set of maintenance works covered by the C-Check program including, but not limited to, functional and operational systems checks, repair, overhaul and exchange of internal components, inspection and repair of structure and composite elements, NDT, seat repairs, and defect rectification.
Later this year, Turkmenistan Airlines will send its four other Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Vilnius for similar checks.
